If you have already voted, we thank you. If you have not voted, this is your last chance.
Under the election rules, it is now too late to call for a replacement ballot. But it is NOT too late to vote.
All ballots that are received by Thursday at 9 a.m. will be counted.
Your vote is your voice. Use it.
We want to thank all the members who have generously supported this grassroots campaign by making donations and our raffle. Our raffle winners were drawn on Sunday, Nov. 22. First Prize went to Vin Chandre. Second prize goes to Dennis Cadle. Third prize goes to Cara Johns.
Ballots are in the mail to elect our union’s next executive board. Across our union members are coming together to vote 804 Members United.

“Local 804 Members United will be there to observe every step of the vote to ensure a fair and secret election.”
— Mark Holmes, Row B Candidate for Trustee
Shop Steward, Midnights, Nassau
After you mark your ballot, put it in the secret ballot envelope. Then put the secret ballot envelope in the return envelope.
At the vote count, the membership information on the return envelope will only be used to verify that you are an eligible voter.
The secret ballot envelopes of thousands of eligible voters will be mixed together before any secret ballot is opened. No one will know how you voted.
Help Spread the Word!
Ballots will be mailed this Tuesday, Nov. 17 and counted on Dec. 3. Now the election is in your hands.

Members have reported that some Row A supporters have asked other UPS employees to turn over their ballots to be marked and/or mailed for them. This is illegal.
Federal law forbids anyone to collect a members’ ballot. This is a secret ballot election. No one will know how you voted.
The 804 Members United Slate will monitor every stage of this election to make sure it is fair. We encourage you to vote by marking your own ballot.

The 804 Members United Slate will cut bloated officer salaries and perks and spend the union’s money on the membership.

The 804 Members United team will cut the salary of every Local 804 officer by $35,000. We will eliminate 401K contributions for Local 804 officers. In all, we will slash Executive Board salaries and perks by more than $400,000 a year.

The Executive Board unanimously endorsed the most concessionary UPS contract in 25 years—all while the company was making record profits. Row A’s deal would have reduced our 35 cent raise (already an embarrassment) by 10 more cents.
Row A also agreed to let UPS take away 25 & Out and the 15-minute coffee bonus from all new members.
Row A and UPS told members that if we voted their concessionary contract down, it would be be illegal to restore the 30 percent pension cut. We proved them wrong. Read more »
