What Has Row A Done for You?

part-timerLocal 804 officials want UPS part-timers to vote for them.

But what has Row A done for YOU?

Pitiful wage increases, including a 35¢ raise the same year that Local 804 officials hiked their own pay by $4,000 to $10,000 each.

Base Wage Frozen at $8.50 Until 2013. No increase in base pay for part-timers since the Redmond Slate took office.

No New Full-Time Combo Jobs. Gave away the contract language that requires UPS  to create full-time combo jobs for part-timers.

Benefit Givebacks. No paid holidays or medical benefits for new hires for the first year  (18 months for family coverage). Eliminated language that guarantees medical benefits equal to full-timers.

“We’re Voting 804 Members United”

“On Nov. 17, every Local 804 member will be mailed a  ballot. Cast your vote for 804 Members United. They fought the contract that sold us out. And they’ve put forward an Action Plan to Fight for Part-Timers and Inside Workers.

“Local 804 President Howie Redmond was on the negotiating team that delivered the worst contract in 25 years.

“The entire Local 804 Executive Board unanimously endorsed this sellout. They don’t care because they don’t think we’ll vote. Prove them wrong!”
